Important Notice

To all Management Corporations/ Management Committees and residents of condominium properties

Official functions of the Condominium Management Authority have come to a standstill in the wake of the curfew imposed by the government following the outbreak of Corona or Covid-19 global pandemic.

If you have any problems regarding the maintenance activities carried out by Management Corporations/ Management Committees established in condominium properties, you are kindly requested to contact the following telephone numbers in order to ensure the continuity of the following services offered to the residents of condominium properties, until the situation in the country returns to normal Property developers too can contact the Authority using these numbers in the event of any problematic situation.

  • Counselling services for property developers for problems encountered by them on account of the current situation.
  • Active maintenance of Management Corporations/ Management Committees
  • Unauthorized constructions
  • Legal issues in a condominium property

If you experience any manpower shortage in maintaining and managing common amenities and common elements in your housing scheme, (due to poor attendance of employees resulting from the prevailing situation), please make arrangements to convene a meeting of the management council and put in place a suitable programme for the maintenance of common elements and common amenities in consultation with residents.

Further, you are instructed to strictly adhere to recommended health practices in using common elements such as handrails, lifts, gymnasiums, swimming pool, corridors, parking lots and community hall and other open spaces.

We wish to bring to your kind notice that it is extremely important for Management Corporations/ Management Committees to follow these instructions creating awareness amongst residents until such time there is an improvement in the situation of the country.
